Volunteer Teacher Program (VOLT)

Our VOLT Program coordinates and organizes volunteer teachers (on English, Mathematics, ICT) in underserved public schools at the basic education level. Volunteer teachers will be paid some stipends and should come from their immediate or nearest local communities and must be well qualified.  The aim is to improve basic literacy, numeracy and digital literacy in underserved communities.

We also identify promising high-performing students from poor backgrounds and offer them scholarship and placement in reputable secondary schools. Special focus should be given to girl-child (at least 50% girls). In the future, we may consider providing tailored capacity building to primary and JSS teachers by leveraging on our experience and expertise through years of successful program implementation at that level.
